Career Exploration Equity Grants

The Career Exploration Equity Grant Program was established by the Governor’s Workforce Board to support equitable access to high-quality career exploration opportunities for youth and young adults. It provides a 100% reimbursement for eligible activities and costs up to $5,000 per calendar year. 

Big Yellow School Bus (BYSB)

BYSB provides grants of up to $500 to support arts learning in the school. To qualify for this funding, schools must plan an in-person arts and cultural field trip with an arts and culture organization in Rhode Island.

Field Trip Directory

Fieldtrip Directory provides a platform to discover grants for field trips that cover admission, transportation, and more.

Rhode Island Foundation – Grants & Scholarships

Offers various grants and scholarships to support educational initiatives and community programs in Rhode Island.

PPAC’s ARTS Scholarships program

Since 1996, PPAC’s ARTS Scholarships program has opened the door to the arts for more than 800 of Rhode Island’s middle-school aged-youth. Scholarship recipients are awarded up to $600 to enroll in summer education programs of their choice spanning the breadth of artistic pursuits.

 Audubon Society of Rhode Island:
Program and Transportation Scholarships 

Audubon Society of Rhode Island understands that a field trip is often out of reach for many schools due to the cost of transportation and limited budgets. Thanks to the generosity of Audubon supporters, there are financial aid opportunities available.

Al Zannella Scholarship

This scholarship fund is open to students pursuing a degree in hospitality. Eligible applicants include those currently enrolled in a Rhode Island high school or a post-secondary institution with a focus on hospitality-related studies. Students are encouraged to apply and take the next step toward a rewarding career in the industry.

David DePetrillo Scholarship Fund 

This scholarship supports students enrolled in or accepted to a hospitality undergraduate program at an accredited college or university in New England. It is open to those pursuing a career in the hospitality industry and seeking an associate or bachelor’s degree.
