About the Organization and Opportunity
Organization: ServeRI is the Rhode Island Commission for National and Community Service responsible for administering AmeriCorps. Through AmeriCorps you can serve at a school, nonprofit, or public agency that needs your compassion and creativity to address our local challenges. In return, you will receive a cash allowance, an education award, and training to accelerate your career. Commission Board members are appointed by the Governor of Rhode Island and supported by the staff of the Rhode Island Department of Education (RIDE).
Opportunity: Meet a prior participant in AmeriCorps who will share their personal service story, the different opportunities in AmeriCorps after high school, the training they received, and how their service has helped them grow professionally and personally.
