Organization: Brown University Health Workforce Development provides the opportunities, inspiration, and education to help you find your career in healthcare. Workforce Development at Brown University Health offers practical work experience, mentorship under professional career experts, training, and education strategies. Brown Health’s Workforce Development program was created for underemployed and unemployed adults (18+) looking to become trained and certified for today’s most in-demand entry-level healthcare positions that can lead to meaningful employment and career success. They also offer a Summer Youth Employment (SYE) program for Rhode Islanders ages 16 to 19. This is an eight-week, full-time paid employment opportunity that can lead to a meaningful career path in healthcare, with experience for lifetime success.
Opportunity: Learn how to craft a resume that gets noticed. Discover how to structure and format your resume for clarity, choose strong action verbs, highlight measurable achievements, include the right keywords for your field, and avoid common mistakes. Start the process to have a new resume created and tailored specifically to highlight your skills and experience. Participants can also bring their existing resumes to get hands‑on feedback.
