About the Organization and Opportunity
Organization: As a major research university defined by innovation and big thinking, URI offers its undergraduate, graduate, and professional students distinctive educational opportunities designed to meet the global challenges of today’s world and the rapidly evolving needs of tomorrow.
Opportunity: This camp has two sections each week. One concentrates on various computer science concepts such as web design, virtual reality, and cybersecurity. The other section concentrates on using computer science to take your own music and music production to the next level, while also coding some fun mixes. Students do not need to have prior experience for either section and instruction is modified for all levels of experience. Students can repeat camp weeks and continue to learn in the same section or repeat camp and switch sections.
Note: Lunch is provided at no additional cost in the dining halls. Accommodations are made for vegans, gluten free, peanut-allergy, etc. and are part of normal operations in our dining hall. T-shirts will be provided for the students.
