About the Organization and Opportunity
Organization: The Providence Performing Arts Center (PPAC) presents touring Broadway productions and some of the biggest names in comedy and concerts.
Opportunity: Launched in 2024, this education, outreach & engagement program is a vital leadership opportunity for high school students. Each month, Teen Ambassadors will be exposed to a different career track in the arts management industry and get firsthand knowledge from industry professionals.
A Teen Ambassador is a 10th, 11th, or 12th grade student who wants to explore various non-performance careers in theatre. Applicants must be a student in Rhode Island or students who live within a 20-mile radius of the Performing Arts Center in Massachusetts. Teen Ambassadors must be enrolled in high school for the entire school year, maintain at least a B (3.0) average unweighted, and have a strong recommendation.
